The SENCO network is a professional forum for sharing information between SEND leaders in schools, specialist settings, the local authority, external service providers and BDSIP. It also offers an opportunity to understand local trends and provides schools with the tools to proactively address them. The focus of this session will be informed by your requests and themes emerging from support needs identified by BDSIP Inclusion Advisers early in the spring term.

We will focus on practical advice on ‘how to’, emphasising the importance of regular meetings with the school’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) and the best questions to ask in relation to SEND.
