Education, in my view, should prioritise student- centred learning, cultivating creativity and critical thinking, while also instilling a life-long love of continuous learning. I am passionate about creating an empowering environment where students in Barking and Dagenham can explore their interests and take ownership of their education.
I chose to join BDSIP due to its direct impact on my community. Having grown up in Barking and Dagenham, it’s an honour to contribute positively to the schools I attended and witness the support they provide, which I did not have during my time there. Moreover, joining an organisation committed to continuous learning and improvement in all aspects perfectly aligns with my values and aspirations.
Before joining BDSIP, I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. My professional background includes extensive experience in customer service, as well as in market research. Currently, I am completing a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship.
My role in BDSIP as a business administration apprentice involves providing diverse administrative support across teams within the organisation. This includes tasks such as client liaison, coordinating marketing and communication campaigns, assisting with CPD courses, and supporting core team functions relating to finance, HR, and marketing.
