I am the Head of Careers Education and Work Experience, responsible for leading the Careers, Aim Higher, and the Work Experience services.
I have worked in STEM education for over 15 years bridging the gap between education and industry. I enjoy working with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths) businesses and professionals to develop engaging educational programmes, bringing to life scientific principles, innovation, and creativity. I am passionate about making accessible to young people and their families the vast opportunities available across industries in order raise aspirations and realise potential.
BDSIP’s approach to supporting schools holistically resonated with my values of raising aspirations and supporting schools to grow in way that is meaningful to them, the students and community they serve. I joined BDSIP in 2020 as the Employer Engagement Manager and progressed on to the Head of Careers Education and Work Experience in 2022.
Prior to joining BDSIP, I worked in STEM Education managing the national Engineering Masterclasses at the Royal Institution and working with STEM Ambassadors network of 3000+ STEM volunteers at STEM Learning.
