Gillian Bratley
Advisory Teacher Primary Computing and ICT
Gillian’s work is focused on supporting schools to improve education for their pupils; to embed and improve the Computing curriculum and use of technology, and to make better use of the wider range of assessment data available.
Gillian has experience as a classroom teacher, subject leader (maths and ICT) and, since 2003, an Advisory Teacher for Primary ICT in Barking and Dagenham.
She has a wide range of experience in supporting schools: writing curriculum materials; working with teachers and subject leaders to embed Computing and ICT into the curriculum; online safety workshops for staff and for parents; team teaching; middle leader training; subject leader development; staff training on Computing software; analysis of school and national data sets (including Analyse School Performance (ASP), IDSR and FFT Aspire).
She manages a traded service and has experience of working with colleagues from other Local Authorities and from industry.
