I am the School Performance and MIS Support Manager with over 20 years’ experience working with data in the education sector. I believe every child and young person deserves access to high quality education to give them the best chance of fulfilling their potential and timely, accurate data analysis that underpins evidence-based decisions in schools can ultimately support them on their journey. This aligns perfectly with the ethos at BDSIP where delivering the best outcomes for children and young people is at the heart of everything we do.
Prior to joining BDSIP in 2019, I worked for 16 years in Children’s Services at Barking & Dagenham Council and latterly BD Together undertaking varied performance analysis and management roles with an education focus. I have particularly enjoyed working with a wide range of school and LA colleagues building extensive knowledge and strong relationships during this time.
In my dual role I have operational responsibility for the Education Data Management (EDM) and Management Information System (MIS) Support services as well as related work undertaken on behalf of Barking & Dagenham Council. The EDM Service supports schools with the completion of statutory DfE data returns, dealing with general data related queries and provides a broad range of data analyses including, but not limited to, pupil, school, LA and national level attainment and characteristics information. This is complemented by the MIS Support Service which provides comprehensive support and training for schools.
