Sarah is an Associate Counsellor at BDSIP. Sarah’s background is in social worker where she has worked for over 15 years with years with children and families.
Sarah has a degree in Health Studies, MSc in Social Work and a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic counselling, where she draws from the Humanistic approach focusing on the client as a whole. Sarah worked for Place 2 Be for 1 year offering counselling and play therapy and has provided mentoring to university students. She is warm and empathic and offers a range of tools alongside her counselling to allow children to express themselves and to reach their full potential.
Sarah also has extensive experience working with children with additional needs and is able to tailor the sessions to suit the child’s needs. She has previously run groups focusing on ADHD and Autism.
