Agnes is an Associate Counsellor at BDSIP working in an SEN Secondary school in Southwark, London. She is a BACP-registered integrative counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling and is currently in her final year of an MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. She uses an integrative approach to therapy that combines elements from multiple theoretical perspectives, including psychodynamic, cognitive–behavioural, person-centred, and attachment theories. By drawing from these diverse frameworks, she can tailor her interventions to suit the specific needs and preferences of the young individual while using a wide variety of creative means to help young people explore and make sense of their feelings.
Agnes has over ten years of experience working with children in a wide range of childcare, educational and therapeutic roles over the last ten years in Hungary, Italy and the UK, such as Italian language teacher, HR specialist, childcare professional, and integrative counsellor.
Agnes is passionate about helping children and young people remove the blocks to their healthy emotional growth and reach their full potential. She has a particular interest in autism, developmental trauma, and attachment difficulties.
