Lee Boyce
Principal Adviser, SEND & Inclusion
Lee is Principal Adviser for Inclusion at BDSIP. In this role she is responsible for all our inclusion related work, covering SEND, Inclusion, attendance and behaviour. Lee is ensuring that SENCOs and Heads receive consistently excellent Inclusion support and for the delivery of council commissioned Inclusion activity.
Lee has extensive experience of inclusion and SEND, which began in a teaching assistant role in 1995 before moving to the Southwark SEND Team to work in the production and monitoring of Statements of SEND.
She has moved to BDSIP from the role of Assistant Head at an SEMH school in Hackney where she had responsibility for English and Literacy; the Careers and Work-Related Learning Programme; and Therapeutic Provision.
Prior to taking up this role, she spent twelve years at a Waltham Forest Secondary where she was initially appointed as Head of English and also spent five years as a qualified SENCO.
She has also worked in Haringey and Newham in both English and Literacy Co-ordinator roles.
