I have worked a Data Analyst for almost two decades in the field of Education, working mainly with local authority schools from Key Stage one to five, in the analysis of key performance data. I have also led on the Pupil Census and School Workforce Census data collections.
At BDSIP I advise and support schools with the completion of statutory returns, producing analytical reports and identifying trends and supporting the school improvement team to target any initiatives. I provide effective analysis to schools, monitoring and utilising data to support teaching and learning at all levels of the organisation. Furthermore, I ensure that our schools have accurate and high-quality data to help raise the standards of performance.
My core belief is that every student has the potential to excel and shine when provided with the right tools and support. I advocate for the strategic use of data to tailor educational approaches, ensuring that each pupil’s unique needs and strengths are addressed. By closely monitoring progress and adapting methods accordingly, we can help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Ultimately, my goal is to create an environment where every learner feels valued and empowered to succeed.
My inspiration to join BDSIP stems from our commitment to improving educational outcomes through innovative and evidence-based approaches. I am deeply motivated by our mission to support schools in maximising student potential, particularly through data-driven strategies. Additionally, BDSIP’s collaborative ethos and dedication to professional development resonate with my own values and aspirations in the field of education.
