Debbie is a Careers Adviser offering one to one careers advice and guidance to students in schools.
Debbie started her long career as a teacher. She worked at the University of East London for 28 years within the area of Widening Participation. During this time she had a number of roles which included Pre-entry Information Advice and Guidance Manager, Barking/Thurrock Learning Shop Manager and Schools and Colleges Liaison Manager. Her role also included working on a number of ESF funded projects and organising residential Summer Schools for local school children. During this time Debbie completed her careers guidance qualifications.
Debbie is also a full time foster carer. She is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
