I am the Aspirations Lead and Employer Engagement Manager for the BDSIP employability and work experience department. I have over a decade of experience working within education, work experience and youth engagement programmes, working with a wide range of pupils from varying backgrounds across London and Essex. I am an advocate for pupil success and champion all pupils to excel in their personal development and growth. I am an inspiring, driven and dedicated practitioner, committed to guiding individuals to making the best-informed decisions about their future careers, aspirations and goals.
BDSIP believe in purpose before profit, are locally grounded and have a proven track record in supporting and raising aspirations of local pupils. These values aligned with my desire to positively motivate the next generation.
Prior to joining BDSIP, I worked on GLA funded youth programmes to support young people into education, employment and training. I have facilitated information and guidance programmes pan London, along with sourcing internships, apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.
I am a work experience manager who is responsible for sourcing and securing work experience placements for LBBD students and building meaningful relationships with employers within East London and beyond. I am passionate about being an advocate in community empowerment and strive to encourage self-belief, resilience, and personal development.
