Andre is a work experience manager who is responsible for sourcing and securing work experience placements for LBBD students and building meaningful relationships with employers within East London and beyond.
Andre has over 10 years’ experience working within education, welfare to work experience and youth engagement programmes; working with a range of people from varying backgrounds. This includes vulnerable young people, those with physical and mental challenges and individuals furthest from the labour market. Prior to joining BDSIP Andre worked with young people pan London delivering bespoke information and guidance workshops along with sourcing internships, apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities enabling growth and development.
Andre’s passions lie in supporting young people and families to achieve their aspirations and goals. He enjoys being an advocate in community empowerment and strives to encourage self-belief, resilience and personal development.
