- Understand the different elements of learning children need to experience and develop to achieve early writing skills.
- Support accurate judgements of children's writing in EYFS.
What will the course cover?
- The development of writing in EYFS
- Consider other areas of learning, which need to be developed in order for children to become writers, i.e. communication and language, reading and mathematics
- The importance of providing young children with opportunities to build their physical strength and control in the core, upper body, hands and fingers
- Make accurate judgements of children's writing
