This 2-part workshop provides, for those managing GCSE RE at their schools, everything you need to reflect on your present practice with plenty of ideas building on your practice.

Learn from GCSE experts on successful trialled strategies and practice that will support your RE departments development at Key Stage 4.

What will the course cover?

  • Tuesday 12th March 2024: 2:30-4pm Aims
  • Revision games to engage and enthuse students with revision in RS. From Blockbuster to Ludo, the name game to patchwork thinking, quizzes to translation tasks. Come and be inspired with ideas and resources to take back and use at your school. Aims
    • Raising student and teacher confidence in answering 12 and 5 mark GCSE questions
    • Sharing strategies and top tips that lead to improving student results at GCSE
  • Friday 15th March 2024: 2:30-3:30pm
    • The science behind revision games to engage pupil engagement and retrieval of substantive knowledge for GCSE RS
    • Sharing strategies and top tips that lead to improving student results at GCSE
    • Providing resources for schools to take away and use

  • Teachers of RE
