Year 6 Writing at Greater Depth

Home > Year 6 Writing at Greater Depth

This is an opportunity for year 6 teachers to come together to share their children's writing and to have the support from trained moderators to assess how their children are progressing. We recognise the challenge in achieving greater depth in writing and we aim to help clarify what makes a greater depth writer.

Description

Cost

  • Schools based outside of LBBD - £65
  • Schools based in LBBD - No charge

Why should I attend?

If you are new to year 6 and/or expecting a moderation this year, this is a great opportunity to practically apply the TAF to writing examples.

What will the course cover?

Please bring examples of your children's writing with you - those who are at expected and on the cusp of greater depth or you feel have the potential to be greater depth. We will look at pieces as a group and assess using the TAF with the support from experienced KS2 moderators.

Who should attend?

  • Teachers
