This training will support teachers in using the assessment frameworks to make judgements in writing.

Description

Using the training materials provided by the STA and used to train our moderators, this session will guide teachers through how to identify the features of each writing descriptor. It will develop English subject knowledge and confidence in accurately assessing pieces of writing. This course builds on ‘Expectations in Writing Year 2’ and will be followed by ‘Teacher Assessment in Writing’ on March 9th where be sharing our writing to moderate as a group.
