This course is an opportunity for year 2 teachers to moderate their children’s reading and writing evidence using the teacher assessment frameworks at the end of KS1.

Description

This course is particularly beneficial for teachers new to year 2 or schools expecting moderation.

 

It will support preparation for moderation and there will be an opportunity to look at examples of standardised writing and exemplifications. 

 

  • To familiarise yourself with the expectations at the end of year 2
  • To understand the range of evidence needed for a child to meet the KS1 standards in reading and writing
  • To have an opportunity to moderate with other schools and understand the moderation process
