Rehanna is passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in the early years, no matter their starting point. With over 15 years of experience working in primary schools, she specialises in supporting young children with complex learning and communication needs. Her deep understanding of early development allows her to create tailored, child-centred strategies that enable children to engage meaningfully and make sustained progress.
Drawing on the SCERTS framework, Rehanna works closely with schools and alternative settings to embed inclusive, evidence-based approaches into everyday practice. She is particularly skilled in modelling early interventions that strengthen social communication and interaction, and in helping staff use visuals and structured routines to enhance engagement and reduce barriers to learning.
Rehanna is committed to empowering practitioners with the confidence and tools to support all learners, including those whose progress may be measured in the smallest of steps. Her work reflects BDSIP’s belief in inclusive, strengths-based practice and the power of early intervention to transform long-term outcomes for children and families.
