Full Biography

Hermann brings 25 years of rich experience leading and teaching across diverse educational settings, specialising in SEND strategic leadership, SEMH, curriculum development, and whole-school inclusive practice. His career spans early years, primary, secondary, post-16, mainstream, SEND, and SEMH provisions across London.

Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for Compass Learning Partnership in Brent, Hermann remains deeply committed to advancing the wider inclusion agenda. He supports schools nationally through training and tailored school improvement work, fostering environments where all learners feel valued and supported.

Hermann is a certified Positive Behavioural Support and Active Support Coach, with practical experience setting up innovative provisions for excluded learners and young people impacted by gang involvement, demonstrating his commitment to addressing complex challenges with compassion and evidence-based approaches.

Aligned with BDSIP’s mission, Hermann is dedicated to enabling schools to provide inclusive, nurturing spaces that empower every child to thrive academically and personally.
