Full Biography

I am a School Improvement Adviser at BDSIP. With extensive experience in curriculum leadership and team development, I work alongside schools to support strategic planning, staff development, and leadership capacity building. I really enjoy working with schools within BDSIP; building relationships and networks, and facilitating the sharing of expertise.

I began my teaching career through the Havering Beacon Partnership Graduate Teaching Programme after completing a Zoology degree at the University of Liverpool. I progressed from Science teacher to KS3 Coordinator and then Head of Science at two secondary schools, leading larger teams and teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to GCSE level, as well as Biology at A Level. During my time as Head of Faculty, I completed a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Canterbury Christ Church University.

I then took on the role of Assistant Headteacher at a large 11-18 comprehensive school in Essex, leading on interventions and Pupil Premium. I went on to became Deputy Headteacher, at the same school; responsible for curriculum leadership, during which time I embarked upon the ILM Level 7 Certificate for Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors, which has now been completed.

Alongside my role at BDSIP, I work with small and medium size business owners to improve their productivity, I coach senior leaders to complete their NPQSL and Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship, and also run a Children Inspired by Yoga franchise. I am passionate about professional growth and positive change, and I am committed to helping schools build strong, resilient teams and deliver high-quality education for all students.
