Full Biography

Yasmine is an Associate Careers Adviser, providing one-to-one guidance and support to help students explore their future pathways and make informed choices about their next steps.

With a decade of experience supporting residents and young people across Barking and Dagenham, Yasmine has worked extensively with both mainstream and specialist schools, including those supporting students with SEMH and SEN needs. Her approach is rooted in building trust, understanding individual aspirations, and ensuring that every student has access to the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

Before joining BDSIP, Yasmine managed the Traineeship Programme at Barking & Dagenham College, working with “hard to reach” and vulnerable students to secure meaningful work experience opportunities. She holds a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance, building on her earlier IAG Level 4, and brings a strong understanding of the barriers young people face when moving into education, training, or employment.

Yasmine is particularly proud of having developed bespoke work experience packages for SEN schools — a reflection of her ongoing commitment to inclusion and opportunity for all young people.
