Why should I attend?

This introductory session is designed for primary school educators and leaders who want to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. Participants will gain a clear, jargon-free understanding of what AI is, how it’s already shaping classrooms, and how it can support teaching, learning, and leadership in practical ways. The session will highlight the benefits of AI while also addressing important considerations around ethics, bias, and data privacy. With time for exploration and discussion, attendees will leave with the confidence to begin exploring AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully in their own settings.

  • Understanding AI – what AI is (and isn’t)
  • Benefits for teaching and learning – automating tasks, supporting learners, planning and generating resources
  • Ethical and practical considerations – bias, hallucinations, pupil data and privacy, policies
  • Tools and ideas to try – writing prompts, useful tools
