Description

  • Develop quality transition practices for children in EYFS and those moving into Year 1.
  • Establish clear and effective communication between all involved in the transition journey.

What will the meeting cover?

  • Exploring the principles that underpin the Early Years Foundation Stage 
  • How to manage the curriculum and pedagogy in YR1
  • Writing a policy for transition
  • Transition planning for SEND children
  • Use of the Foundation Stage Profile to plan children’s learning in YR1

  • Transition Coordinator; Yr1 Teacher/Phase Lead
