This course will support the development of subject leaders professional knowledge and understanding of the art curriculum in primary school.

Description

Why should I attend?

These sessions will be led by Emily Gopaul, a highly experienced primary art consultant. She passionately advocates for art in education through writings and consultation work. She has worked with BBC learning as well as galleries such as the Tate. Her knowledge and expertise will enthuse, inspire and motivate teachers in developing an exciting art curriculum that reflects and celebrates our diverse world.

 

What will the course cover?

This session is designed for art educators seeking a reflective exploration of their curriculum design approaches. Participants will acquire practical insights and strategies, engaging in rich discussions with fellow art educators. The workshop aims to impart knowledge on effective selection, organisation and presentation techniques for art planning. Join us for a comprehensive experience as we delve into the nuances of curriculum design in the realm of art and design education.
