An opportunity for headteachers to explore how to have the conversations which we can sometimes find most difficult, exploring psychological safety and how to respond constructively to challenging issues, including in relation to race and social justice.

Description

Keynote and facilitation with Heidi Mirza, Professor of Race, Faith and Culture at Goldsmiths University.

A sociologist, Heidi has worked extensively with educators exploring issues of psychological safety, and how to create a culture in schools which facilitates honest conversations about the most challenging subjects, including in relation to race and equity.
