Jacqui is a Postgraduate Diploma / QCG-qualified Careers Adviser dedicated to helping young people explore their strengths, ambitions, and future pathways. Grounded in empathy and a client-centred approach, she creates safe and supportive spaces where pupils feel heard, valued, and empowered to make informed decisions about their next steps.
She is passionate about making career pathways accessible for students of all abilities. Jacqui works to raise aspirations, nurture confidence, and help young people thrive — aligning closely with BDSIP’s mission and belief that every learner deserves the opportunity to succeed.
With more than 25 years’ experience across the careers and youth sector, Jacqui has supported young people in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham, including substantial work within Connexions Services. Her practice has focused on helping pupils overcome barriers such as being NEET, homelessness, being a young lone parent, or having SEND. Collaboration is central to her approach, and she works closely with schools, colleges, training providers, and community organisations to ensure holistic, impactful guidance.
Jacqui has also supported adult carers within family contexts, building trusting relationships to help individuals re-enter education or employment. Whether through one-to-one guidance or facilitating workshops, she prioritises empathy, clarity, and empowerment — helping people build confidence and new skills.
What inspires her most is witnessing individuals take meaningful steps towards their future. Seeing pupils and adults gain clarity, grow in confidence, and progress into education, training, or employment is at the heart of her work with BDSIP and continues to drive her passion for transformative career guidance.
