Martin Grant is a serving headteacher with over 25 years’ experience leading diverse, high-challenge schools in London and Manchester. Currently, he leads Wellington Primary in Tower Hamlets, which was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2023, praised for its ‘nurturing, aspirational, and exceptional’ environment where ‘pupils thrive’.
Martin is passionate about fostering inclusive schools that empower all learners to achieve their potential. He builds strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community agencies, believing that collaboration is key to lasting school improvement.
His commitment to developing leaders and supporting colleagues through mentoring and coaching reflects his dedication to strengthening educational leadership across the region. As a School Improvement Partner and Local Leader of Education, Martin brings practical experience and a collaborative spirit to help schools deliver the best outcomes for their communities.
