This meeting is aimed at KS5 Biology teachers. There will be time provided to network and meet colleagues from other LBBD schools; we will then look at the barriers to progress at KS5, synoptic essay / longer written answers and revision ideas. Please bring with you an example of a technique that has worked really well.

Description

Why should I attend?

  • Make connections with KS5 Biology Teachers in LBBD.
  • Discuss ways in which to improve performance in the synoptic essay element of the exam
  • Share ideas as to how to revise A Level Biology (please bring at least one example with you to share with the group)

What will the course cover?

  • There will be time provided to network and meet colleagues from other LBBD schools.
  • Ways in which to teach the essay writing element of the exam
  • Revision ideas

  • Subject Lead/ Coordinator
  • Teacher
  • NQT
  • Lab Technician
