Adriana offers a compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental space where children and young people feel safe to share their stories and express their feelings. She supports clients in exploring painful or difficult emotions, helping them discover healthier ways to cope and build emotional resilience. With an integrative approach, Adriana tailors her counselling to the unique needs of each individual, drawing from CBT, Person-Centred, Existential, and Psychodynamic methods.
Her passion for children’s mental health grew from years of volunteer work and teaching, where she witnessed how family and relationship challenges, as well as negative thinking patterns, can limit young people’s potential. Adriana works closely with clients to uncover their strengths and empower them to thrive despite fear or adversity.
With over ten years of experience supporting children in a variety of roles, Adriana is deeply committed to raising awareness about early years mental health through psychoeducation. She holds a degree in Counselling and is registered with the BACP, bringing a thoughtful and dedicated approach to every young person she supports.
At BDSIP, Adriana’s commitment to creating nurturing, inclusive environments where every child feels valued and heard perfectly reflects the organisation’s mission. She is proud to contribute to a team that prioritises emotional wellbeing as a foundation for learning and personal growth, ensuring that all children have the support they need to reach their full potential.
