As part of our wider employability work, we collaborate with employers to offer students the opportunity to gain a unique and meaningful insight into the world of work, in line with Gatsby Benchmark 5.
Miriam Josiah, investment banker at Morgan Stanley, is our newest connection. She has dedicated her time to meeting students to discuss her role and explore the routes into investment banking. This is a very special opportunity as Morgan Stanley do not currently offer work experience for sixth form students, so this is a useful and exclusive way to build contacts and learn about what skills/experiences are required to get into investment banking.
Our first group of students visited Morgan Stanley in Canary Wharf on 27th September 2022, where they not only met with Miriam but also received a tour of the workplace.
