Jo is at the heart of BDSIP’s day-to-day operations, a trusted and steady presence who ensures that systems run smoothly, people feel supported, and the wider team can stay focused on delivering for schools and young people.
As Executive Support and Office Manager, Jo brings more than 25 years of experience in education to her work. She has a wide-ranging role but her focus remains constant: to enable colleagues to do their best work and to ensure the highest possible standard of service delivery.
Jo played a key role in the creation of BDSIP, helping to establish the organisation from the ground up. That formative experience, combined with her years supporting the Education Department at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, has shaped her deep understanding of the education landscape, and her strong relationships with schools, headteachers, and partners across the borough.
Born and raised locally, Jo is proud to serve the community she knows so well. Her commitment to exceptional service, her practical problem-solving, and her calm, people-first approach make her an invaluable part of the BDSIP team, quietly making sure that everything works, so that every child can access the opportunities they deserve.
