Full Biography

Neil has worked as an independent consultant for the past five years in a variety of school improvement roles nationally and internationally. He is a practising Team and Lead Ofsted Inspector in London.

Over a number of years Neil has developed expertise in working with leadership teams in schools to devise actions that improve pupil outcomes. He is able to quickly assess how to support leaders and devise realistic action plans to rapidly address areas for improvement. He ensures capacity is long lasting through effective coaching and mentoring strategies and sharing of knowledge. As he interacts with different people every day, he is able to build relationships with staff at all levels very quickly. This benefits the school and therefore the pupils.

Neil has worked in education in London for over 20 years, including primary headship, deputy headships and LA adviser. He is passionate that children receive the best opportunities at school through an engaging curriculum so that they can thrive in the next stage of their education.
