Full Biography

Michelle is a Careers Adviser based in schools offering one – one advice, guidance and information interviews to students aged 14-19yrs. Her role is to assist students in making decisions about their future and achieving their full potential.

Prior to joining BDSIP Michelle has worked in Westminster, Islington, Havering and Hackney boroughs as a careers adviser and project Coordinator. As a project coordinator Michelle developed youth provisions with partner organisations to provide innovative careers advice and guidance opportunities locally and worked very closely with the youth services, YOT, Schools and Colleges.

While working in Barking and Dagenham Michelle assisted her school to achieve their Matrix Careers mark and also was nominated and presented with the Jack Petchey leaders award for recognition of her work at the school.
