Liz has almost 20 years’ experience an advisory teacher, having previously been a primary subject leader and senior leader. She provides CPD and support in primary science, design and technology and healthy schools and is the borough’s moderation manager for KS1 and 2.
Liz has extensive experience of presenting to local, national and international audiences and has been active in the Association for Science Education and the Design and Technology Association at a national and local level for many years.
Liz has been an advisor to STA and co-development of the ASE PLAN assessment materials to exemplify standards in the new science curriculum including advising DfE during development of this national curriculum.
She is a Chartered Science Teacher, a Primary Science Quality Mark Senior Hub Leader and an author. Her publications include It’s not fair – or is it? which underpins working scientifically in the national curriculum, Be safe! and Collins Snap Science scheme of work.
