Caroline has been part of the Attendance Service in Barking and Dagenham since 2001. She was originally employed by the Youth Offending Service as the Education Officer, later as her role changed, she moved into the Attendance Team and focussed on Primary Schools.
Her previous experience has been in a Private Children’s home in Redbridge, Brookside Psychiatric Unit for teenagers – NHS Trust and Hargrave House in Chelmsford working with severely disabled and autistic children.
Caroline has also been involved in setting up a family centre in Dagenham in 1995 soon after she graduated from UEL – Barking Campus with a BA Hons in Psycho-Social Studies with Professional Studies.
During her working life Caroline has maintained a Child centred approach, working with extremely challenging and vulnerable families, with a multiagency approach wherever possible.
