Government Review of the National Autism Strategy: Share Your Experiences
In 2009, The Autism Act came into force. This has since be supported by ‘Think Autism’, published in 2014, which outlined the national strategy for meeting the needs of autistic adults.
This year, the Departments for Education, Health and Social Care will review the 2014 strategy with a view to extending it to cover children and young people, as well as adults.
To achieve this, they are appealing for information from:
- Adults, children and young people with a diagnosis of ASC
- Their families
- Their carers
- Professionals working with adults, children and young people who have a diagnosis of ASC
The information given in the online survey will be used to identify the progress made by the strategy and the priorities for the future.

The consultation will close on 16th May 2019.
