This course will help you to develop your secondary RSE curriculum, with a focus on domestic abuse and healthy relationships.
This is a half day course.
Why should I attend?
This training will help you:
- To build on current knowledge of the new DfE Guidance on RSE through making specific links to domestic abuse
- To improve knowledge around the dynamics of abusive relationships, how it impacts children and the pathways to prevention in school settings
- To improve confidence and ability to create and deliver a spiralling curriculum with a variety of resources on domestic abuse and healthy relationships
- To audit current whole school approach to domestic abuse in your setting and create an action plan to improve it.
Who should go?
- Heads of Department
There will be no charge for any schools attending this training for schools who are engaged with the local Heathy Schools programme.
Schools who are not engaged will incur a £150 charge for the half day course.
