This training course is intended for each school in Barking and Dagenham’s nominated race and social justice facilitator.

The course will ensure that all school facilitators have an opportunity to:

  • Understand race and social justice work in the borough to-date and where their role fits in with this.
  • Be introduced to the race and social justice charter and schools’ self-evaluation tool.
  • Learn more about one school’s approach to using the self-evaluation and learning from this
  • Meet fellow facilitators across the borough and explore the different approaches and practice emerging across our community of schools.
