Many schools are responding to the new Ofsted framework by reviewing their curriculum. This course will contain a range of activities to promote thinking about the principles and challenges of science curriculum design.


 This is a half day course.


Why should I attend?

  • To receive support to define curriculum intent
  • To develop a science curriculum that engages pupils and enables progression in learning.


What will it cover?

  • Consider the place and value of science in your school curriculum
  • Identify progression in key areas
  • Evaluate approaches to cross-curricular learning

  • Curriculum leaders
  • Subject leaders



This is a half day course.

Upon registration our booking system will correctly display the cost of this course based on your school package status.

  • CPD Package subscribers: There will be no charge for this course for schools that have purchased the CPD Package.
  • Pay as you go BDSIP Members: For schools that have not bought the CPD Package, there will be a charge of £120 per delegate for BDSIP members.
  • Pay as you go non-members: There will be a charge of £150 per delegate for schools that do not currently have BDSIP membership.

 Cancellations less than five working days before the course may still be charged.
