Hosted by Amjad Ali, this session will offer class teachers evidence-based, low effort-high impact strategies that will support re-engagement with learning in the classroom.

Session 1: Re-establishing Routines for Learning – hosted by Amjad Ali

Why should I attend?

  • How do I get all my students back to the mindset of classroom learning?
  • How do I re-establish effective routines that will support a culture of learning in my classroom?

 

What will the course cover?

  • Current evidence-based research into effective teaching and learning.
  • The core principles behind building effective routines for engagement in learning.
  • Low-effort, high-impact classroom strategies applicable for any subject, age or phase.

 

Session 2: Re-engagement in Learning: Motivation, Challenge and Success – hosted by Amjad Ali

Why should I attend?

  • How do I establish where all my students are in their learning now?
  • What strategies can I use to encourage active participation in their own progress?
  • How can I develop a culture of energy and motivation to learn in my classroom?

 

What will the course cover?

  • Effective low-effort, high-impact strategies that support you to ‘check for gaps’ in learning.
  • The principles of intrinsic motivation and success with practical, evidence-based strategies that you can use immediately.
