What will the course cover?
- Identifying dyslexia, supporting parents, giving advice and issues about ‘labelling’
- Exploring issues around assessment and identification – with an overview of what is available
- Using the YARC and PHAB test to assess pupils and draw up a learning programme for them

Essential requirement:
- 1. both the PHAB2 Complete Set £180 and YARC Complete Set of assessment materials £274 (primary or secondary as appropriate) must be purchased in advance of the course (if not already in school) and brought along to the session.

- 2. Delegates must bring along to the session a pen portrait of one pupil who they think may have dyslexia and two or three samples of work, e.g. writing, to make reference to.
