Religious Education Secondary Network Meeting

Home > Religious Education Secondary Network Meeting

Led by Claire our RE advisor, Religious Education network meetings are arranged to provide opportunities to bring together RE subject leaders and departments within secondary schools to meet, network and work collaboratively on projects and help them in their teaching responsibilities. Every meeting provides a focus on rich subject knowledge on a religion or worldview, building up RE leaders own subject specialism and ability to lead expertly in teaching RE

Description

  • update subject leaders on relevant local and national information;
  • help subject leaders understand their role and responsibilities within school ready for an Ofsted deep dive;
  • share best practice models and examples in RE, and
  • work with outside agencies and faith groups to support schools in delivering high quality RE.
