Description
Day 2, in February 2021, supports SENCOs to develop high impact follow-up actions that address areas for development from their peer SEND Reviews
Why should I attend?
SENCOs will have a solid understanding of how to use the SEND Review process to continue to improve practice in their settings. It will support your professional development in SEND leadership as a whole school responsibility.
SENCOS will work in partnership with their peers to develop best practice in our learning community, providing the opportunity to work in a peer-supported way to get a fresh perspective on practice within individual settings.
The follow-up session will enable SENCOs to identify how we can share best practice more effectively across the borough and formulate a collective plan to address shared challenges. It also offers an opportunity for SENCOs to shape the BDSIP CPD offer for 2021.
What will it cover?
The SEND Reviewer Training Programme will cover:
- how to use the SEND Reviewer guide
- how to structure the SEND review process
