This is a half day course.

 

This is a three-part course:
Part 1: Tuesday 26th November 2019, 1:00 – 3:30pm (Alibon Children`s Centre Annexe)
Part 2: Thursday 12th March 2020, 3:45 – 5:15pm (CLC, Adult College)
Part 3: Thursday 14th May 2020, 1:00 – 3:30pm (Alibon`s Children Centre Annexe)
Early Years practitioners are invited to attend all sessions.
Computing subject leaders are invited to attend the 12th March twilight with their Early Years practitioner(s).

 

Why should I attend?

  • To understand how children, use technology to explore the world around them
  • To demonstrate the importance of the use of communication and language in the Technology early learning goal (ELG)
  • To recognise the links between technology and other ELGs
  • To use a range of practical activities to understand the different elements within the technology ELG

 

What will it cover?

  • Hands on opportunities to use a range of resources
  • Opportunities to plan and share good practice

  • Early Years practitioners
  • Computing subject leaders
  • Teachers

 

Pricing

This is a half day course.

  • Barking and Dagenham schools: There will be no charge for any schools in Barking and Dagenham. 
  • Other schools: There will be a charge of £120 per delegate for schools outside of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Alibon Children’s Centre Annexe, Sterry Road, Dagenham, RM10 8PT

If you can’t attend, or if a colleague will be attending in your place, please inform us as soon as you can before the event.

Cancellations less than five working days before the course may still be charged.

Arrive from 9.00 for refreshments. Lunch will not be provided.
