This is a mandatory accredited course for new or aspiring SENCOs which is run by UEL. Delegates have the option of two locations in East London or North London.

Description

The course is accredited by The University of East London (UEL) and all credits gained are transferable to other courses both at UEL and other universities. Students have a session at UEL as part of the course where there is an excellent library including eBooks and journals.

The course spans one academic year and comprises two modules at Masters level.

  • The SENCOs role in leading teaching and learning
  • The SENCOs role in leading and managing change.

 

Assessment is through two 5000-word assignments and completion of a Learning Outcomes Log.

It is compulsory to attend all sessions and complete all assignments to obtain the accreditation.

 

Module One – 6 dates from the 1st September 2020 up to the end of December 2020

Module Two – 6 dates from the 1st of January 2021 up to the end of May 2021

The cost of this programme is £2245, to be paid directly to the University of East London.
